Thanks to DAI’s first intern
The whole Direct Aid Iraq team would like to say “thank you” to Christian, our very first intern. Christian is a student at a Quaker boarding school in northern New England, and has been working with DAI in our Vermont office for the last three weeks. He’s overcome illness, a car accident, and more to contribute his gifts and time to supporting this work, and we’re deeply grateful.
During his time with us, Christian has done the invaluable work of consolidating hundreds of contacts of DAI supporters, written up case descriptions, edited and formatted images for our website, wrestled with our online database, listened in on conference calls between our American and Iraqi teams, and all-in-all provided essential help to our operations. We’ll miss having him around, but we hope that maybe we can convince him to stay involved as he is able.
Thank you, Christian, from all of us.
