International NGO will cover Atif’s surgery

An international NGO will arrange and pay for surgery to insert two small prosthetic bones in Atif’s middle ear. This is intended to repair the damage caused by an explosion that occurred nearly four years ago when Atif and his mother were in a marketplace. Doctors are hopeful that it will restore Atif’s ability to hear in his left ear. DAI is very pleased that this NGO will provide for this aspect of Atif’s medical needs.
